Because my right hand took quite a beating with the last work and kind of hurts when I use it. ;w; It makes me paranoid and kind of upset to think that I might not be able to use it in the future, so I’m giving it a break. 

However, since she can draw with her non-dominant hand better than I can even draw with my dominant hand, I’ll start with something more simple. Like learning how to write with my left first. XD 

I started yesterday and it’s going well. I could read my handwriting but it looks like a six-year-old’s. 

Oh well, gotta start somewhere. 

My finished art trade piece. :) I experimented a lot on the coloring and, unfortunately, the background looks like an entirely separate piece from Luffy. XD

Now my arm hurts. I only have three days to my art trade deadline. T-T

Ah man, my hand hurts from detailing this now. T-T Imma just go sleep now…

I’ve been going through my really old art dating from up to five years back. [They’re all horrible, to say the least. XD] As a sort of test, I redrew a few of them just to see how well I’ve improved. 

I wonder if I should post these before and after sketches one of these days, just to see how one year of serious practice has improved my art. ^-^ Ah well…

Maybe if my scanner cooperates I guess.

Final draft for an art trade in dA. The anatomy and perspective aren’t too good, but I think it’s acceptable. (I think…) I probably won’t line it the usual way and just clean the lines. Or something…

I feel so sad somehow… I mean, it wasn’t my line art and everything, but I did color it and gave it the added effects. They even cut it up. ;A;

Just because it’s fan art doesn’t give anybody the right to do whatever they want with it. It’s still someone else’s work.

I already kindly asked them to take it down, but got no replies. :( Just reblogging to vent.

This was something I drew a year ago when I just got into drawing. I didn’t think it was too bad then but whenever I look back at it nowadays, I can’t help but cringe (both from disgust and extreme amusement). 

The worst part is that this actually appears in Google search. 

Despite the paranoia of being judged based off of this work alone, I do feel that I have improved much since then.
